We consistently take the respective planned production technology into account in product and component development. Our tool making experience accumulated over many years is incorporated directly into the design of plastic moulded parts suitable for production.
We leave nothing to chance in component design and engineering. By using the CATIA V5 CAD software in development, we ensure that the design is suitable for production and withstands the respective stresses.
We perform strength calculations and geometry optimisation with the ANSYS software. Currently we have five workstations available for FEM simulations. Our spectrum includes static simulations under thermal stress for thermosetting and thermoplastic materials as well as stress analyses under misuse loads – also for metal parts. We can verify simulation results in the laboratory as well.
Rheological and thermal simulation
In component and tool engineering, we simulate and optimise the rheological and thermal loads with the help of the CADMOULD simulation software. Here our spectrum encompasses the investigation of mould filling including cascade injection moulding, the determination of weld lines and warping behaviour, the layout of mould temperature control and the evaluation of hybrid assemblies.
